Description

I imagine dragon slaying isn't very safe profession. I pretty sure the health insurance is just horrible.

On the other hand if live in the D&D world and that only monster you had to worry about. Its pretty easy to specialize in slaying the dragons without even breaking a sweat. In fact a DM once told my brother to make a high level character and made the mistake telling him that he was going to be facing a dragon. The poor creature didn't last a round.

Ah, the foibles of DM'ing effectively. My primary experience with DM'ing was with my daughters when they were very young.

I used the game as a vehicle to teach teamwork, reading, writing, art, and a bit of critical thinking as the puzzles of playing a thief, or fighter correctly require logic as per limitations, and strengths/weaknesses.

Of course, they always had DM controlled characters with them that were very powerful. My goal was to give them a chance to learn the positive aspects of role-playing, not traumatize them my letting some kobald kill one of them. I did let them take a hit or two to give them some excitement, but my cleric was always on hand to heal them.

I love D&D, Magic, Warhammer, Assassins Creed, even Talisman have never replaced it as my favorite RPG of all time.
