I'm going to Furlandia!!

Not only am I'm going to convention in Portland Oregon this upcoming May, I also got into the Dealer's room. I'm real excited since this will be time as a dealer!

So anyone planning on going to Furlandia?

What would prints or merchandise would like to see me bring?

I'll also be looking into getting an assistant for my booth and for someone to share a hotel room with.

I've decided to try out Patreon, a site design to help out artist. I've been struggling to make ends meet for a while so hopefully this help stabilize me some fanatically. I know a lot you can't afford to commission from me, but even a small donation of dollar or five helps a lot. In fact if all my watchers we're willing to donate just a dollar a month that would more money than I would know what to do with!

If Patreon proves to do well, I'll use the extra funds to do the following:

-To make comics
-Upgrade art supplies and equipment
-start attending conventions so I have to chance to meet some of you all.

I don't use DA as much anymore, but I do check back at least once in a while, so I thought update my commission policy.

Pricing

Head shots – Single character's head and face only.

$10 Line art
$15 Flat colored
$20 Full shade color

Half / quarter Shot –  Only about half to a quarter of the character's body will be drawn. Chibi illustrations will priced in this range.

$25 Flat colored
$30 Full shade color

+$15 per extra character (color) ($10 b&w)
+$15 detailed background (color) ($10 b&w)
+$5 complex character, has extra limbs, body parts, detail tattoos or markings.

Full body shot – Character whole body is in the image frame.

$35 Flat colored
$40 Full shade color

+$20 per extra character (color) ($15 b&w)

Comics

Comics are a lot more involved and take more time and do not included cost for conceptional art work. Please contact me details. Comic commissions with taken on very limited bases.

Full page comics

3-4 panel newspaper style comics

Rights

I reserve the rights to post images on my personal galleries online. I also reserve the right print and sell prints if I choose to do so. Private art will cost extra as for art being used for commercial projects.

 Commissioners are allowed to post artwork on their own personal online galleries and make prints for their personal use only.

My tablet just broke!!  Or specifically I think the pen for my Wacom Intuos 3 has broken. I manage to get some functionality out of it, but it feels like I'm wrestling with a bull every time I draw with it now. Looks like I'm going to have to get it replaced.

I've already done a quick search, and looks I'm going to have spend about 70 bucks to get it replaced. I'll might also consider just replacing my tablet as it getting old and start to show some wear and tear. I'm taking a look at my fiances but I don't have much to spare, I might have enough to replace the pen at least.

So sadly this going put a dent into my art output. I might have to go back to using tradition media tools (gasp!) like good old pen and paper.
